------------------------- Gloria Proops I was an Agunah for twenty years and received my get in 1995. In the same year I started the campaign with Sandra Blackman to help other Agunot. I have been working behind the scenes over the years with various Batei Din and I have been involved in organising many protests and naming and shaming recalcitrant husbands. ------------------------- Sue Eptsein I am a consultant counsellor specialising in psychological trauma. I am married with a teenage son. I have been involved with the campaign for six years, as I was an agunah. I use my counselling skills in the support group I run. I lecture for the Agunot Campaign all over the country talking about my own experiences. ------------------------- Sandra Blackman I am a mother and grandmother. I work in property management and charity administration. After suffering as an Agunah I was keen to provide support and help to others in this situation. I also feel that the Jewish Community needs greater education and awareness of the issues involving divorce. I hope to see the implementation of halachic solutions to resolve the problems. ------------------------- Sharon Barget Mother of two children. I do voluntary work. I had many problems obtaining my get i.e. being blackmailed into handing money over. This has made me aware of the lack of understanding and knowledge in the community and made me feel we should educate future generations in order that they can avoid the label of Agunah which is so distressing.
